August 19 (SeeNews) - The industrial production of Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by an annual 19.3% in July and was 0.9% higher than a month earlier, official data showed on Wednesday.
In June, the output was 18.5% higher than a year ago and 5.5% up on the month, the Republic's Statistics Office said in a statement posted on its website.
In July, the index for the mining industry output rose by 8.6% on the month but was 9.5% lower on the year, while the processing industry index increased by a monthly 0.8% and was up by an annual 36.8%, the statement said.
The index for electricity, gas and water supply fell 2.0% from June and was 7.8% higher on the year.

NOTE: The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous parts that form war-divided Bosnia. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
The industrial output of the Serb Republic rose by 16.8% last year after expanding by just 1.4% in 2007.
