Bosnia's Serb Republic industrial sales down 4.4% in 2023

January 30 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Serb Republic fell by 4.4% on the year in 2023, data by the entity's statistical office showed on Tuesday.

According to earlier figures by the same office, Bosnia's Serb Republic industrial sales increased by 24.7% in 2022.

Non-domestic industrial sales fell by 7.7% year-on-year and domestic industrial sales declined by 0.4% last year, according to figures published in a monthly report by the statistical office.

Alone in December, the industrial sales of the entity fell by 11.9% on the year, after a drop of 11.1% in November.

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial sales dipped 0.4% in December, following a decline of 1.3% in November.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
