Bosnia's Serb Republic fails to sell 7.7 mln euro in 3-mo T-bills

BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 22 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's Serb Republic has failed to sell its 15 million marka ($9.6 million/7.7 million euro) offer of three-month Treasury bills in an auction on Monday, data from the bourse in Banja Luka indicated.

Bosnia's Serb Republic fails to sell 7.7 mln euro in 3-mo T-bills

Investors placed bids worth only 1.14 million marka, the Banja Luka Stock Exchange said on its website.

The maximum weighted price offered in the auction was equal to 99.4849% of par with an average interest rate of 2.0998%, while the minimum price offered was 99.2657% of par with an interest rate of 3.0%.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
