November 16 (SeeNews) - The ministry of energy and mining of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic signed a 50-year concession deal with power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) for the construction and operation of photovoltaic (PV) power plant Trebinje 2, an investment worth 84.2 million marka ($44.7 million/43.1 million euro), ERS said.
The planned solar power plant will have an installed capacity of 53.63 MW and estimated annual electricity production of 85.5 GWh, ERS said in a post on Facebook on Tuesday.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
