September 22 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 15.6% on the year in August, after rising by 15.4% in July, the entity's statistical office said on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices in the Serb Republic were 0.4% higher in August, after an increase of 0.9% in July, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
In annual terms, prices of transport services rose 28.2% in August and prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages went up 25.9%.
Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 1.7% on average last year, after falling by 1.2% in 2020.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
