In the first nine months of 2009, the value of construction works in Bosnia's Serb Republic dropped by an annual 6.3%, the Republic's Statistics Office said in a statement on its website.
The statistics office stopped issuing monthly figures for the value of construction works at the beginning of 2008. Currently, it provides Information on month-on-month and year-on-year percentage changes only.

NOTE: The Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation makes up post-war Bosnia, is the smaller of the country's two autonomous parts, with a population of some 1.5 million.
