March 1 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic stood at 1,312 marka ($727/671 euro) in January, up by 4.7% on the year in real terms, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 0.3% higher in real terms in January, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly salary in the entity amounted to 2,001 marka in January, up 0.4% in real terms compared to December.
The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic reached 1,274 marka in 2023 and was higher by a real 4.1% on the year.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
