Bosnia's Serb Republic annual inflation slows to 15.5% in Oct

November 22 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 15.5% on the year on October, after increasing by 16.1% in September, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.

On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices in the Serb Republic were 1.8% higher in October, following an increase of 1.0% in September, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.

In annual terms, prices of transport services rose 25.8% in October and prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages went up 26.2%.

Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 1.7% on average last year, after falling by 1.2% in 2020.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
