BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 22 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic decreased 26.2% on the year to 845.1 million marka ($481.4 million/432.1 million euro) in the January-September period, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Exports fell by an annual 2.3% to 2.7 million marka in the nine months through September, while imports declined 9.6% to 3.6 million marka, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly trade report.
The entity's largest trading partner in the January-September period was Serbia with a share of 16.4% of total trade turnover, followed by Italy with 15.2% and Germany with 9.2%.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
