BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 29 (SeeNews) – The number of tourists in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by an annual 2.6% to 238,584 in the first eleven months of 2014, official figures indicated on Monday.

The number of overnight dropped by an annual 4.8% to 556,869 through November, data published on the website of the Statistics Office of Bosnia's Serb Republic indicated.

The Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation are the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Most foreign tourists visiting the Serb Republic came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Austria.

In November alone, the Serb Republic's tourist numbers climbed by 14.7% on the year to 21,426 while overnights rose by 1.6% to 45,647.
