Bosnia's Sarajevo Canton cancels 7 mln euro bus purchase tender

June 3 (SeeNews) - The transport ministry of Bosnia’s Sarajevo Canton said it has cancelled 13.7 million marka ($7.6 million/7 million euro) tender for the purchase of buses and minibuses.

The tender was canceled as a result of an appeal of potential bidder Sejari d.o.o., the canton's transport ministry said in a notice on Friday, without disclosing details.

Sarajevo-based Sejari is the representative, distributor and repairer of automobile manufacturers VDL Bus & Coach, Isuzu and Krone in Bosnia, its official website shows.

The canton's transport ministry launched the tender for the purchase of three articulated buses, three standard buses and two minibuses on December 26.

The Sarajevo Canton is one of ten cantons forming Bosnia’s Federation entity. The Federation and the Serb Republic together form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
