Bosnia's registered jobless numbers fall 4.7% y/y in Feb

April 22 (SeeNews) - The number of registered unemployed people in Bosnia fell by 4.7% year-on-year in February, to 338,528, the Agency for Statistics said on Monday.

On a monthly comparison basis, the number of registered unemployed people declined 0.6% in February, Bosnia's statistical office said in a statement.

Most of the registered unemployed in February, 106,901, were highly skilled and skilled people, followed by unskilled ones, 99,498, and holders of high school diplomas, 95,288.

The lowest number of registered unemployed, 4,942, were semi-skilled people.

The number of registered unemployed people in Bosnia declined by 3.9% year-on-year in 2023, the same agency has said earlier.

Bosnia has a population of about 3.5 million, according to the latest census held in 2013.
