Bosnia's PPMKD to distribute higher dividend for 2023

May 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnian microcredit organisation Prvo Penzionersko Mikrokreditno Drustvo (PPMKD) [BANJ:PPMK-R-A] said on Tuesday its shareholders approved a proposal to distribute a dividend of 2.98 marka ($1.66/1.53 euro) per share for 2023, slightly higher compared with the previous year.

PPMKD will pay out its entire 2023 net profit as dividend for that year, it said in a bourse filing.

The company's net profit came in at 1.5 million marka in 2023, up from 1.4 million marka a year earlier.

PPMKD paid a dividend of 2.82 marka per share for 2022.

PPMKD is based in Banja Luka, the capital of Bosnia’s Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
