Electricity output in September was lower than in August, when it totalled 1,216 GWh, the country's statistical office said in a monthly report last week.
Electricity imports fell to 267 GWh in September from 411 GWh in the same month of 2022, whereas exports reached to 497 GWh from 423 GWh.
Compared to the previous month, electricity imports in September went down 6.0%, while exports fell 19%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market stood at 830 GWh in September, down from 889 GWh in August, and lower than 891 GWh in September 2022.
