Electricity output in December was higher than in November when it totalled 1,337 GWh, the country's statistical office said in a monthly report.
Electricity imports fell to 369 GWh in December from 416 GWh in the same month of 2022, whereas exports rose to 717 GWh from 716 GWh.
Compared to the previous month, electricity imports in December rose 21.8%, while exports went up 5.0%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market stood at 1,077 GWh in December, up from 958 GWh in November, and lower than 1,116 GWh in December 2022.
