November 9 (SeeNews) - Bosnian company Integral Inzenjering has launched the construction of an 80 metre long bridge over the Vrbas river in Banja Luka, the city government said.
The first phase of the construction works will cost some 7.5 million marka ($4.6 million/3.8 million euro), the city government said in a press release on Sunday.
Total investment in the project was not disclosed.
The financing for the project has been provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the city of Banja Luka.
Banja Luka is the biggest city in the Serb Republic.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
