Bosnia's industrial sales up 3.4% y/y in April

May 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's industrial sales rose 3.4% on the year in April, following a decline of 2.3% in March, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.

Industrial sales on the non-domestic market dipped 0.4% year-on-year in April, while sales on the domestic market went up 7.5%, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

In April, sales of consumer non-durable goods increased by 6.5% compared to April 2023, sales of capital goods rose 5.1% and sales of intermediate goods increased by 4.9%. Energy sales decreased by 31.9% and turnover of consumer durables fell by 9.0%.

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial sales rose 0.9% in April, after a drop of 2.5% in March.

Bosnia's industrial sales fell by 8.4% on the year in 2023, the statistical office has said earlier.
