Bosnia's industrial sales down 6.5% y/y in Jan

March 25 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's industrial sales fell by 6.5% on the year in January, following a revised drop 11.7% in December, the country's statistical office said on Monday.

Industrial sales on the non-domestic market fell by 11.7% year-on-year in January, while sales on the domestic market added 0.1%, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

In January, sales of consumer non-durable goods increased by 8.7%, sales of capital goods rose 2.0%, while sales of consumer durable goods fell 6.7% compared to January 2023. Sales of intermediate goods went down 14.2% and energy sales plunged 20.6%.

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial sales rose 2.7% in January, after a decline of 0.9% in December.

Bosnia's industrial sales fell by 8.4% on the year in 2023, the statistical office has said earlier.
