Bosnia's Grawe Osiguranje Sarajevo posts higher 2023 net profit

February 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Grawe Osiguranje Sarajevo, a member of Austrian insurance group Grawe, said on Thursday its net profit increased 50.8% on the year to 3.5 million marka ($1.9 million/1.8 million euro) in 2023.

Total gross written premiums edged up 1.7% year-on-year to 58.8 million marka in 2023, Grawe Osiguranje said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

The company's income from fees and commissions fell to 828,605 marka in 2023 from 860,846 marka the year before, while operating costs inched up by 0.7% to 19.7 million marka.

Grawe runs a unit in each of Bosnia two constituent entities, the Federation and the Serb Republic.

Grawe Osiguranje Sarajevo is based in the Federation, while Grawe Osiguranje Banja Luka is based in the Serb Republic.
