Bosnia's G-Tank opens 1.5 mln euro 980 kW Lasva mini HPP - report

September 13 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's wholesale distributor of oil and oil products G-Tank has officially opened its 980 kW Lasva mini hydro power plant (HPP) worth 3 million marka ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro), local news portal eKapija reported on Friday.

Lasva HPP will contribute to the quality of electricity supply to domestic consumers, eKapija quoted G-Tank owner Ivan Gudelj as saying at the opening ceremony.

The power plant in Vitez, some 80 km northwest of Sarajevo, is expected to produce 5,560 MWh of electricity per year, news portal Centralna.ba reported.
