Bosnia's Federation trade gap widens 53% y/y in Jan-July

August 23 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 4.476 billion marka ($2.286 billion/2.289 billion euro) in the first seven months of this year, compared with a 2.933 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2021, the entity's statistical office said.

Exports grew 38.8% on the year reaching 7.092 billion marka in the January-July period, while imports surged 43.6% to 11.568 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Monday.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
