Bosnia's Federation trade gap widens 22% y/y in Jan-Apr

May 20 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation posted a trade deficit of 2.985 billion marka ($1.658 billion/1.526 billion euro) in the first four months of this year, compared with a 2.440 billion marka trade gap in the same period of 2023, data of the entity's statistical office showed on Monday.

Exports fell 8.2% on the year to 3.572 billion marka in the January-April period, while imports rose 3.6% to 6.557 billion marka, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
