Bosnia’s Federation sees 2014 power output at 9,208 GWh

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 30 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation said on Monday it sees domestic electricity output at 9,208 gigawatt-hours (GWh) in 2014, while the electricity consumption is estimated at 8,887 GWh.

Bosnia’s Federation plans to import 220.542 million standard cubic meters of natural gas under a deal with Russia’s Gazprom, which is 20% up from a last year's gas consumption, the entity's government said in a statement after endorsing its 2014 energy balance projections..

The coal production next year is seen at 7.444 million tones.

The Muslim-Croat Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
