Bosnia's Federation oks 4.46 mln euro EU grant for solid waste management project

December 19 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation said it has accepted a 4.46 million euro ($5.5 million) grant from the European Commission for financing a solid waste management project.

The grant will be used for a project that will be implemented in the municipalities of Sarajevo, Neum, Bosanska Krupa and Srebrenik, the entity’s government said in a statement on Thursday.

The funds will be provided through the EU’s Instrument for Pre-Accession Trust Fund (EU/ IPA TF).

The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
