March 27 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation fell to 686 GWh in February from 706 GWh in the same month of 2023, the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Electricity imports fell to 51 GWh last month from 81 GWh in February 2023, while exports decreased to 123 GWh from 140 GWh, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly report.
The net electricity output of hydropower plants fell to 315 GWh in February from 351 GWh in February 2023, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 331 GWh from 323 GWh.
On a monthly comparison basis, net electricity production in February went down 9.4%. Imports fell 48%, while exports declined 13% in February.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
