Bosnia's Federation Jan-Oct tax revenue up 2.3%

November 7 (SeeNews) - The tax administration of Bosnia's Federation said it has collected 4.4 billion marka ($2.5 billion/2.2 billion euro) in taxes in the first ten months of 2019, up 2.3% compared to the like period of last year.

Revenue from direct taxes fell 6.1% on the year to 1.1 billion marka in January-October, the entity's tax office said in a statement on Tuesday.

Revenue from contributions, on the other hand, rose 7.1% on the year to 3.0 billion marka in the January-October period on the back of higher payments into the state pension and health insurance funds.

The Federation is one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
