October 1 (SeeNews) - Industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation decreased by 11.4% year-on-year in August, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Industrial sales on the non-domestic market fell 15.1% on the year in August, while sales on the domestic market dropped 7.4%, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
Sales of intermediate goods decreased by 21% on the year, while sales of non-durable consumer goods advanced 6.5% in the month. Sales of durable goods rose 2.7%, the statement said.
Sales of capital goods fell 3.5% year-on-year in August, while sales of energy fell 23.3%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bosnia's Federation industrial sales dropped 3.2% in August.
Bosnia's Federation industrial sales grew 2% on the year in the first eight months of 2019.
The Federation is one of two entities that form Bosnia. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
