Bosnia's Federation industrial sales down 10.8% in 2023

January 31 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation fell by 10.8% on the year in 2023, the federal statistical office said on Wednesday.

According to earlier figures by the same office, the industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation increased by 24.8% year-on-year in 2022.

Industrial sales on the non-domestic market dropped 15.9% year-on-year in 2023, while sales on the domestic market fell 3.3%, according to a first estimate of the Federation's statistical office.

In December, industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation fell 2.7% on the year, following a revised drop of 16.3% in November.

On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales fell 3.2% in December, after a revised decline of 3.4% in November.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
