Bosnia's Federation generates 3,963 GWh electricity in H1

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 18 (SeeNews) – Power plants in Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation generated a total of 3,963 gigawatts hours of electricity in the first half of 2012, or 84.4% of plan, while the entity's power consumption was 4,322 GWh, or 99.3% of plan, its government said on Thursday.

A total of 3.39 million tonnes of coal were produced in the first half of the year in the Federation, or 93.71% of plan, while coal consumption was 3.3 million tonnes, or 93.6% of the plan, the government said in a statement.

The Muslim-Croat Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic.
