Bosnia's Federation cancels May 21 government debt auction

May 20 (SeeNews) - The finance ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federation said on Monday it cancelled the auction of 30 million marka ($16.7 million/15.3 million euro) worth of three-month Treasury bills scheduled for May 21.

The cancellation is due to the adequate liquidity level of the entity's budget and the current market conditions, the Federation's finance ministry said in a statement.

At the last auction of three-month T-bills held in 2017, the Federation sold 30 million marka worth of government securities at a 0.19% yield.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
