March 21 (SeeNews) - The consumer price index (CPI) of Bosnia's Federation rose 1.1% on the year in February, following an increase of 0.7% in January, the Federation's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's CPI added 0.6% in February, after an increase of 0.2% in January, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
The average consumer prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which have the biggest weight in the consumer basket, rose 1.4% on the year in February, prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels fell 3.3% while transport prices dipped 0.7%.
In 2023, the average consumer prices slowed down to 5.1% on the year, from 14.9% in 2022.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
