Bosnia's ERS, HEV submit EIA request to build solar power plant

January 26 (SeeNews) - The environment ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic said it has received a request from state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) and hydro power producer Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu (HEV) to conduct a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) of a project for the construction of the 9.26 MWp Ada Polje photovoltaic (PV) power plant.

The public can examine the request and submit an opinion within 15 days from the publication of the notice, the ministry said in a notice on Thursday.

The PV power plant will be built in Mrkonjic Grad.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
