Bosnia's end-Mar M1 money supply up 11.5% y/y

May 15 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's M1 money supply totalled 21.9 billion marka ($12.1 billion/11.2 billion euro) at the end of March, up from 19.6 billion marka a year earlier, central bank data showed.

Bosnia's end-Mar M1 money supply up 11.5% y/y

The M2 money supply, which includes M1 and quasi-money (QM), increased 9.3% year-on-year at the end of March, reaching 36.3 billion marka, data from the central bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina showed.

Bosnia's M1 money supply totalled 21.6 billion marka at the end of February. Its M2 money supply came in at 36 billion marka at the end of that month.

M1 includes cash in circulation and transferable deposits in domestic currency of all domestic sectors, except deposits of the central government and bank deposits.

Quasi-money includes other deposits in domestic currency, transferable and other deposits in foreign currency of all domestic sectors, except deposits of the central government and bank deposits.
