March 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in February totalled 459, up 18.9% on the year, the statistical office said on Monday.
Of the total number of permits issued in February, 285 covered buildings, whereas 174 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Based on the number of issued permits, 1,292 new dwellings have been planned for construction, up by 32.8% compared to February 2023.
The overall number of building permits issued in Bosnia in 2023 was 14.8% higher on the year, while the number of new dwellings planned for construction rose 6.9%, the same statistical office has said earlier.
