Bosnia's building permits up 0.7% y/y in March

April 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in March totalled 457, up 0.7% on the year, the statistical office said on Thursday.

Of the total number of permits issued in March, 320 covered buildings, whereas 137 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.

Based on the number of issued permits, 655 new dwellings have been planned for construction, down by 36.5% compared to March 2023.

The overall number of building permits issued in Bosnia in 2023 was 14.8% higher on the year, while the number of new dwellings planned for construction rose 6.9%, the same statistical office has said earlier.
