The company’s businesses abroad is being conducted in euro - meaning all receivables are denominated in the common currency, and in that regard there are no changes, Bosnalijek said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
Bosnalijek sells more than 70% of its output abroad. The Commonwealth of Independent States, where the focus is on Russia, is the company's biggest market abroad with 46% share in sales.
So far in 2014, Bosnalijek said its sales in Russia are up by over 37%.
Bosnalijek's net profit soared to 3.2 million marka ($2.0 million/1.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2014 from 152,000 marka a year earlier with sales revenues rising 14.4% to 83.5 million marka.
