Bosnia's Bimal net profit decreases 15% in 2023

February 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnian edible oil producer Bimal Brcko [SAJ:BBR9] said on Wednesday that its net profit dropped 15% year-on-year to 8.5 million marka ($4.7 million/4.3 million euro) in 2023.

The company's total income fell by 19.8% on the year to 207.7 million marka in 2023, while its operating costs decreased by 20% to 199.2 million marka, the company said in a filing to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange earlier this week.

Its shares have not traded on the Sarajevo bourse in the past year.

The company was privatised in 2002 by Austria's Seed Oil Holdings GmbH, partially owned by Vienna-based Studen Holding.
