Zaimovic will replace Nedzat Razidbegovic and will occupy the position for the next six months, starting from January 1, BH Telecom said in statement after the company’s supervisory board approved the decision.
The acting executive directors of the company's departments were also replaced.
The company said earlier it expects to post a profit of 113.4 million marka ($70.6 million/57.89 million euro) in 2014 on revenue of 580 million marka.
BH Telecom is based in Sarajevo and has customers mainly in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
The other two Bosnian telecoms are HT Mostar, which is also active in the Federation, and Telekom Srpske, which operates in the Serb Republic.
