October 2 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's narrow money, M1, which includes cash in circulation and demand deposits, went up to 5.704 billion marka ($4.243 billion/2.916 billion euro) at the end of August from 5.604 billion marka a month earlier, central bank figures showed.
The M2 money supply grew by a monthly 1.2% and was 4.5% lower on the year at 12.626 billion marka at the end of August, the central bank said on its website.
Quasi-money, which includes savings and term deposits in domestic and foreign currency and demand deposits in foreign currency, rose to 6,922 billion marka in August from 6.869 billion marka a month earlier.
