In April, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.2% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities dipped 0.2%, and transportation prices grew 3.1%. Prices of restaurants and hotels rose 8.8%, prices of healthcare services increased 3.5% and prices of miscellaneous goods and services went up 5.7%.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices increased 0.1% in April, after adding 0.3% in March.
Bosnia's average annual inflation abated to 6.1% last year, from 14% in 2022, the statistical office has said earlier.
