Bosnia's annual inflation slows down to 2.1% in Oct

November 27 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.1% on the year in October, following a 4.1% annual increase in September, the statistical office said on Monday.

In October, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 4.9% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities fell 2.8%, while transportation prices declined by 5.6%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.

On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 1.0% in October, after rising by 0.6% in September.

Bosnia ended 2022 with an average annual inflation of 14%, a significant increase from 2% in 2021.
