November 25 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 188,675 in October, some 36.9% higher compared with 137,777 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Friday.
The busiest airport in October was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 110,580 passengers, followed by the Tuzla International Airport with 44,713 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.
Next came the Banja Luka-based airport with 32,671 passengers and the Mostar airport with 711 passengers in October.
Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports rose to 2,003 in October 2022 from 1,689 in October 2021.
Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 1.2 million in 2021, up by 131.94% compared with 2020.
