Bosnia's airports passenger traffic down 9.5% y/y in Apr

May 21 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 185,128 in April, lower compared with 204,603 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Tuesday.

The busiest airport in April was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 133,822 passengers, followed by the Banja Luka International Airport with 36,377 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.

Next came the Tuzla-based airport with 13,158 passengers and the Mostar airport with 1,771 passengers in April.

Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports dropped to 1,749 in April 2024 from 1,889 in April 2023.

Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 2.4 million in 2023, some 10.01% more compared with a year earlier.
