Bosnia's airports passenger traffic down 25% y/y in March

April 18 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 119,862 in March, lower compared with 159,971 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Thursday.

The busiest airport in March was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 82,926 passengers, followed by the Banja Luka International Airport with 21,270 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.

Next came the Tuzla-based airport with 14,737 passengers and the Mostar airport with 929 passengers in March.

Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports fell to 1,258 in March 2024 from 1,621 in March 2023.

Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 2.4 million in 2023, some 10.01% more compared with a year earlier.
