Bosnia's airports passenger traffic down 23% y/y in Jan

February 16 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 117,895 in January, some 23.4% lower compared with 153,865 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Friday.

The busiest airport in January was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 77,454 passengers, followed by the Banja Luka International Airport with 20,482 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.

Next came the Tuzla-based airport with 19,171 passengers and the Mostar airport with 788 passengers in January.

Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports decreased to 1,261 in January 2024 from 1,561 in January 2023.
