Bosnia's airports passenger traffic down 16.4% y/y in Feb

April 1 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 111,658 in February, lower compared with 133,579 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said.

The busiest airport in February was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 75,112 passengers, followed by the Banja Luka International Airport with 18,516 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement last week.

Next came the Tuzla-based airport with 17,162 passengers and the Mostar airport with just 868 passengers in February.

Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports fell to 1,174 in February 2024 from 1,368 in February 2023.

Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 2.4 million in 2023, some 10.01% more compared with a year earlier.
