BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 31 (SeeNews) – Prehrambena Industrija Trebinje, the Bosnian unit of Serbian food producer Swisslion-Takovo, posted a net profit of 10.5 million marka ($6.5 million/5.3 million euro) in 2014, up 12% from a year ago, local media reported.

In 2014, Prehrambena Industrija Trebinje posted revenues of 90 million marka, up by 32% on the year, news agency Srna said on Tuesday, quoting the company’s financial director Tomo Bakic.

The Bosnian company employs 483 workers, including 420 in its plant in Trebinje and 63 in the company’s other plant, located in the neighboring municipality of Nevesinje.

The company invested some 20 million marka in the two plants this year.

Both municipalities are located in the southeastern part of the Serb Republic, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation
