SASX-10, tracking the 10 blue chips on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE), Bosnia’s bigger bourse, lost 3.24% to 1,488.80 points.
Weekly turnover slumped to 1.96 million marka ($1.25 million/998,100 euro) from 4.59 million marka last week, the bourse said in its weekly trading report.
Drug firm Bosnalijek posted the highest weekly turnover of 156,050 marka on the SASE. It was traded at an average weighted price of 18.98 marka, down from 19.79 marka a week ago.
Power utility Elektroprivreda BiH was the best performer in the SASX-10, gaining 1.49% from last Friday to an average weighted price of 40.82 marka. The weakest performer in the index was engineering firm Energoinvest, which lost 9.59% from last Friday to an average of 9.33 marka.
SASE’s other index, the BIFX, which tracks investment funds, fell 5.36% this week to 2,491.84 points.
Turnover on Bosnia’s smaller bourse, the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE), dropped to 1.36 million marka this week from 1.51 million marka last week and the main indices lost ground.
The BLSE benchmark BIRS index fell 1.78% from last Friday to 1,157.71 points. The BLSE investment fund index FIRS was also down, falling by a weekly 0.76% to 2,204.02 points.
Telekom Srpske was the most traded stock on the BLSE's official market with a turnover of 95,738.20 marka and an average weighted price of 1.20 marka on Friday, almost unchanged from last week’s 1.22 marka.
ZIF Kristal Invest Fond had the highest turnover of 77,615.20 marka among investment funds this week, dropping 0.33% to an average weighted price of 6.00 marka on Friday.
ZIF Jahorina Koin was the biggest gainer among funds this week, adding 30% to an average weighted price of 2.6 marka per share.
Textile company Sloga Prnjavor had the highest turnover of 163,883.96 marka on the free market, reaching an average price of 0.05 marka on Friday, down 1.92% from a week ago.
