Bosnian power distributor Elektrodistribucija's 9-mo net profit rises sharply

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 31 (SeeNews) – Bosnian power distributor Elektrodistribucija [BANJ:EDPL-R-A] said on Thursday its net profit rose to 1.9 million marka ($1.1 million/989,653 euro) in the first nine months of 2019. from 130,449 marka in the liek period of 2018.

The company’s total income grew to 37.9 million marka in January-September from 36.4 million marka a year ago, while total costs fell to 35.9 million marka from 36.3 million marka, Elektrodistribucija said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).

The largest shareholder in Elektrodistribucija is state-controlled power utility firm Elektroprivreda RS with a 65% stake.

Elektrodistribucija's shares last traded on the BLSE on September 24 at 0.3 marka, unchanged.
