Bosnian insurers grow GWPs 11.3% y/y in Jan-Sept

November 17 (SeeNews) - The insurance companies operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina posted gross written premiums (GWPs) of 744.3 million marka ($412.5 million/380.6 million euro) in the January-September period, up 11.3% compared with the same period of 2022, the country's insurance agency said.

Bosnian insurers grow GWPs 11.3% y/y in Jan-Sept

Non-life insurance premiums increased by 12.9% year-on-year to 569.9 million marka in the January-September period, while premiums in the life insurance segment went up 5.3% to 147.3 million marka, according to figures published on the website of Bosnia's insurance agency on Thursday.

ASA Central Osiguranje was the biggest insurer in the period under review in terms of GWPs, with premiums reaching 83.1 million marka, followed by Adriatic Osiguranje with 72.7 million marka and Uniqa Osiguranje with 59.7 million marka.

The insurance agency's report comprises data of 25 insurance companies.
